Supervision

My Supervision Program is designed for counsellors in practice, whether you are new to the field, in transition from Candidacy to Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTCc), or a seasoned therapist seeking renewed connection, reflection, and professional development. Supervision is about fulfilling hour requirements; it is about developing a grounded, confident professional identity, aligning with your values in the caregiving industry, and learning to create meaningful impact both within and beyond the therapy room.

“Supervision provides a framework within which a counsellor can offer an accounting, reflect on performance, and receive feedback and/or guidance.  Regular ongoing supervision helps enhance the quality of service provided and supports continuing professional development. Supervision is beneficial for improved client care, effective self-care and career development.” (ACCT  2025)

Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada - Supervision for Members

Whether you are a new counsellor navigating the early stages of your practice or an experienced therapist feeling isolated or detached from your peers, this program offers a competency-based, process-oriented framework for effective counselling practice.

My supervision approach focuses equally on clinical growth and business sustainability. Together, we will explore:

  • Clinical interventions, ethical dilemmas, case studies and client care

  • Boundaries, transference, grief, loss, and trauma work

  • Working with anxiety, and depression

  • Working with couples, individuals and families

  • Documentation, record keeping, and risk management

  • Marketing, branding, and sustainable and ethical business practices

  • Together we will explore a variety of modalities, interventions and approaches.

Through supervision, you will receive practical guidance, structured in the belief that counsellors thrive when they feel supported, connected, and purposeful.
